Thermoplastic Laminates
Thermoplastic products are melted and thermoformed rather than cured. They can be processed into final parts in minutes and deliver high performance, high-quality, lightweight parts affordably, and in high volumes.
Coaticom’s RapidTP line, is compatible with a wide range of fiber and polymer combinations, allowing you to receive highly tailored structures optimized to the exact performance requirements while reducing or eliminating unnecessary waste, weight, and cost.
Our laminates enable a fast, efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly process.
Coaticom’s laminates are fully consolidated into structural laminates and are ready for use in any thermoplastic processing solution such as compression moulding, stamp forming, vacuum forming, or injection over-moulding processes.
The size of the laminate can be customized according to the customer’s needs.
Coaticom’s laminates are offered with a wide range of thermoplastic polymers combinations as PE, PP, TPU, PA6, PA11, PEKK, PEEK, and more.
The laminates are available from a variety of reinforced fabrics: Carbon, Glass, Aramid, Basalt, and also hybrid fabric possibilities. They are available in a wide range of weaving types, including UD fabrics. The sheet layers can be lay-up to maximize performance and can also be used with core materials.
