Fast & efficient process
Thermoplastic processing is much faster than the Thermoset – a few minutes instead of a few hours. Since the cycle time is much shorter, the technology is more commercial and ideal for high-volume manufacturing. Furthermore, the thermoplastic prepreg has no storage limitation, this means it does not have time limitation during production, it does not require refrigeration, and it has lower storage & transportation costs.
